The Prepaid Press Expo Announces tppEXPO’08
To Be Held At Caesars Palace, LV, August 19-21, 2008
AVENTURA, FL (December 11, 2008) The Prepaid Press Expo will hold its first conference and expo for the prepaid services industry at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, August 19-21, 2008. The event, produced in cooperation with the biggest prepaid industry publication, The Prepaid Press, will feature conference tracks on prepaid calling cards, prepaid wireless and the prepaid/alternative payments industry.
“In ancient Rome, the Forum was the focal point of society,” says Gene Retske, Managing Partner of the Prepaid Press Expo, LLC and Editor of The Prepaid Press. “The Prepaid Press Expo will capture the energy of the Roman Forum.” In addition to the three day-long conference tracks, Retske said the Expo will offer a fresh new experience for conference attendees. “The Roman theme is a perfect motif for the show,” Retske added. “tppEXPO’08 will focus on the prepaid marketplace, just like the Forum was the centerpiece of Roman society.”
The prepaid industry has grown in three distinct branches –calling cards, wireless, and payments. These three diverse elements converge at the retail level, but are still approached as different industries. No trade event today features the convergence.
“The Forum theme is a perfect analogy,” says Robin Tobias, Managing Partner and Publisher of The Prepaid Press. “To make the experience complete, our unique design will feature an Imperial Rostra, center stage, as the focus, and Tabernae (exhibits), will radiate around the center.” There will also be ample networking opportunities in the Colosseum and Pantheon, our exclusive meeting places, right on the Forum floor.
A Toga Party at the Roman Baths is planned. Details will be forthcoming.
