As vice president of sales for Viscom International Inc., Lourdes Fusaro Norton directs and leads sales for the company. Fusaro Norton joined Viscom in 20004 as distribution development manager. She was responsible for the company’s merchandising programs and general sales support. She also served as the liaison between Viscom and its distributors and helped support them as they grew Viscom’s signature BEST™ Mexico prepaid phone card brand. After four years, Fusaro Norton then moved into the top sales position. Prior to joining Viscom, Norton served as the Hispanic initiative manager and Latino community resource executive at the Girl Scouts Council of Northwest Georgia. While there, she led the Hispanic initiative for the Council in 20 counties. Under her leadership, the Girl Scouts Council of Northwest Georgia was awarded “Best Community Outreach” from the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2004. She also created, designed and managed a three-year pilot project that increased membership among Hispanic girls. Fusaro Norton, a native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a graduate of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, with a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and a master’s degree in international affairs.
