Steve Mott
Named by Inter@ctive Week magazine one of "Top 25 Unsung Heroes of the Internet" (12/97) and by Business2.0 one of "Top 25 Most Intriguing Minds for the New Economy" (7/98), Steve's specialty is helping design and implement enterprise and electronic commerce initiatives that utilize emerging digital transaction systems for the next century-subjects about which he frequently speaks and writes. Steve was formerly SVP-Electronic Commerce/New Ventures for MasterCard International, where he led efforts to deploy business-responsive security systems and integrate smart card use for both B2B and B2C Internet commerce. In prior assignments, Steve managed three advanced technology software development companies, headed MCI International's data communications sales, marketing and product development efforts, conducted strategic planning for McGraw-Hill and was an Information Industry consultant at McKinsey. Steve is a graduate of U.C. Berkeley and Harvard Business School, a White House Fellow appointee, and a former Marine.
